For all we know ‘Study’ is a Facebook Program that pays users to share info about how they use apps. This helps Facebook to build better products for everyone on the Facebook community.
Perviously, it was shut down for several reasons, as Facebook was accused then of exploiting a loophole in Apple’s privacy regulations to gain deeper access to the phone, which violated Apple’s rules.
The program is back with a clear print of what it intends to achieve. According to Facebook,
We’ve learned that what people expect when they sign up to participate in market research has changed, and we’ve built this app to match those expectations. We’re offering transparency, compensating all participants, and keeping people’s information safe and secure.”
How Can I Participate?
- Anyone above 18 years old can participate
How it Works
To enjoy and make some cash, you need to be invited through a link whic will be sent to your mail to download the study app, install the app and give permission to the app to get your usage of data, in turn you get rewarded for it.
Note: According to facebook, the user-research program does not collect user IDs, passwords, or any of the participant’s content, such as photos, videos, or messages.
